I’m a freelance filmmaker & writer based in Los Angeles. With roots as a guerrilla filmmaker within the Chicago hip hop and punk music scene, I’m passionate about telling stories from unique perspectives that are visually stunning as well as creating unforgettable viewing experiences and characters that feel authentic. My work has screened at SXSW, DTLA Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, and FilmQuest; featured on MTV, Film Shortage, DUST, and Awardeo; and written up on UPROXX, ScreenRant, The Daily Dot, and Gizmodo. My screenplays have advanced to the second round of the Sundance Institute | New Voices Lab and the finals at ScreenCraft Action/Adventure Screenplay Contest, The Big Apple Screenplay Competition, The Golden Script Competition, Final Draft - Big Break, Stage 32 Sci-Fi/Fantasy Screenwriting Contest, and The Finish Line Script Competition. I also host a screening series in LA for both established and indie filmmakers called Short Round Cool Shit. I'm currently writing and directing an animated series for Adult Swim.
