Nic Collins is best known as the writer and director of the SXSW Official Selection Beached and the Adult Swim series Thoron the Conqueror. With a background in directing music videos in Chicago's hip-hop and punk scenes, he specializes in character-driven stories blending dramedy, grounded realism, and noir aesthetics, while utilizing sound design and music to create immersive experiences. His work has screened at festivals like SXSW and DTLA, and has been featured on Adult Swim, MTV, and DUST. Currently, Nic is producing The Undertaker's podcast Six Feet Under and writing/directing season two of Thoron the Conqueror for Adult Swim. Nic enjoys pro wrestling, 80's comic books, and salmon rolls.
